Hari Raya Mood


Monday comes again greeting us to start the day with the busy working atmosphere. Still, have to go on and the stay fit and healthy. Festive fever is still around and invitation for open houses are everywhere, made us to stay on our ideal weight quite impossible especially for food lovers but still have to watch what we put on the plate.

With varieties of food offered, still, wholesome food is best for the immune system especially when taken along with other colorful types of fruits and veggies. The vitamins and other nutrients works and exist in synergy balancing the immune system hence combating illnesses like cancer, heart disease and viral afflictions.

We might think of, why should we taken care of what we eat since there are lots of delicious food offered outside to choose from?

Think back...how happy we are if we have any type of illnesses? The answer is not a smile will come from our faces and more money poured out the pocket to find the cure and health back.

Illnesses comes not like a flash, it evolves from none to big and noticeable. Why it is happening and starts to attack? Our body's boot camp and foot army unable to fight the attack came from the bugs, cancerous cells and other causes of illnesses.

To get our army to get to work, good nutritious and balance meal is important so, what we had learnt in school is applicable and be appreciable especially when seeing others suffering from ailments which disrupt daily life.

Since the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) spreads, scientists starts to understand the importance of nutritional immunology to fight new and incurable disease but have to bear in mind, other factors also contributes i.e. stress, over-exertion,aging effects and chemotherapy on reducing the immune defense.

Hopefully, we could try to change the lifestyle and diligently do things benefited us on enhancing and maintaining the health.

Preventive Medicine........what?


Preventive Medicine....what? Kindly read what ever being printed later.

What I really interested on is Primary Prevention. Another bombastic or new word to learn? Relax! Enjoy reading.

Primary prevention means actions on preventing from things to occur before it really happens (actions to protect against disease or disability and another category is general action to promote health)

Have you ever heard "An apple a day, keep the doctor away"? Is that really easy to keep the doctor away?, I could say "Yup, easy, but if done correctly and diligently."

How?

That primary prevention comes in. Getting immunizations, ensuring the supply and usage of safe drinking water, applying dental sealants to prevent tooth decay, and guarding against accidents plus good nutrition and hygiene, adequate exercise and rest, and avoidance of environmental and health risks are amongst the things keeping the doctor away. The list is endless but really practical and realistic if done immediately and in a continuous purpose.

Which I could recalled what mommy would say, "eat your veggies, they make you strong like a Popeye." Really? Like most kids, veggies is not a favorite food to eat. Getting older, different perception is gained into control.

When taste matters the most, junk food will be the number one of choice with very slight different sadly with adults choices who prefer fast food since stays in the fast lane of cosmopolitan society. The awareness pertaining to health especially mother who cared for the kids, television programmes e.g Big Loser , people starts to look life not just for granted and start to take care of their body and mind. The adult starts giving example on to live well and healthy, and cook or just prepare nutritious food in the fun ways like the Japanese young mommies prepare their school kiddies in Bento box (see above).

Why veggies and fruits important?. Healthy lifestyles and other preventive measures important?

Because, it is the cheapest before ailments take over which could cost millionaire to become poor sick man.

Think....and ponder.

Preventive Medicine

Have you ever heard about preventive medicine? With all the havoc made by viruses globally, it became more and more important and being implemented diligently with the "help" of the news of the death rate rising across the earth.

Thanks to the "help" of the virus. The government start to educate the public on the importance of hand washing which is a good way to reduce of the spread hence make the environment cleaner plus other ways too.

What was introduced was the simplest way of preventive medicine but it really works. since it was applied in the general wards and operation theaters with different methods of cleaning.

Other then those prevention, have you ever thought of the best prevention of all? We are born with the best doctor in the world. Surprised? Relaxed. Our immune system is the best doctor if we taken cared it well and make it healthy, the system effectively prevents most illnesses.

How?

To explain it here in a simple blog of mine, it would made all of us dizzy. What I can say here, it is amazing to study these immune system "soldiers" who fight for us to ensure that we will be healthy from exterior or interior enemy. Any question?

Some people might think, "why we have this disease and not others?", "why us?" and other types of questions which similarly related to the condition. Well, it goes back to our humble immune system which depends on us to be nurtured.

Whoa! Back to us? Yes! the immune system needs us to be healthy and do their work properly.

How come? Why?
